1. ELIGIBILITY
1.1 Online Orders Only:

This promotion is available for online orders only placed through travelmoneynz.com or my.travelmoneynz.com. In-store purchases are NOT eligible for this promotion.

1.2 Minimum Purchase:

Customers must order a minimum of $500 NZD equivalent in foreign currency cash to qualify for the $8 NZD discount.

1.3 Eligible Products:

This promotion applies to physical foreign currency cash notes only.

1.4 Excluded Products:

The following are NOT eligible for this promotion:

Travel Money NZ Currency Pass (prepaid card)
All other travel money cards or prepaid cards
Currency transfers or bank transfers
Travel insurance
Any fees, charges, or delivery costs
Gift cards or vouchers
Any other non-cash currency products
In-store purchases

1.5 Eligible Currencies:

All foreign currencies available for purchase online through Travel Money NZ qualify for this promotion, subject to availability. NZD is excluded.

1.6 Currency Combinations:

The $500 NZD minimum spend threshold:

MAY be comprised of multiple different foreign currencies, OR
MAY be a single foreign currency
The $8 discount applies once per qualifying transaction regardless of how many different currencies are purchased
Example: Customer orders $300 USD + $250 EUR = $550 total NZD online. This qualifies for the $8 discount.

2. DISCOUNT DETAILS

2.1 Discount Amount:

Qualifying customers will receive $8 NZD off their total order when spending $500 NZD or more on foreign currency cash ordered online.

2.2 Promo Code Required:

Customers MUST enter promo code LNY-NZ-8 at checkout to receive the discount.

2.3 Discount Calculation:

The $8 discount is a fixed amount, not a percentage discount.

Examples:

Order $500 NZD in foreign currency → Pay $492 NZD (save $8)
Order $1,000 NZD in foreign currency → Pay $992 NZD (save $8)
Order $3,000 NZD in foreign currency → Pay $2,992 NZD (save $8)

2.4 Application of Discount:

ONLINE ORDERS:

Customers must enter promo code LNY-NZ-8 at checkout when the minimum spend threshold of $500 NZD is met

The promo code field will be available during the checkout process

The discount will be applied once the valid code is entered and will be visible in your cart before payment confirmation

If the promo code is not entered, the discount will NOT be applied

Promo codes cannot be applied after an order has been completed

Discount is applied to the currency order value only; any delivery fees are calculated separately and are not discounted

The order must be placed between 12:00AM NZDT February 16, 2026 and 11:59PM NZDT February 18, 2026

2.5 Code Validity:

Promo code LNY-NZ-8 is valid only during the promotional period (Feb 16-18, 2026)

The code will not work outside these dates

Only the official promo code LNY-NZ-8 will be accepted; variations or misspellings will not work

2.6 Redemption Limits:

This offer is limited to one (1) use per customer during the promotional period (Feb 16-18, 2026)
Each promo code can only be redeemed once per customer

"Per customer" is defined as: per individual person or per registered online account

The discount cannot be split across multiple transactions

Subsequent orders placed during the promotional period will NOT receive an additional $8 discount, even if the promo code is entered again

Travel Money NZ reserves the right to verify customer identity and registered account details

2.7 Non-Combinable:

If multiple promotions are available, only one may be applied per transaction

Staff discounts and wholesale rates are excluded from this promotion

2.8 Non-Transferable:

This promotion and promo code are non-transferable between individuals

3. COLLECTION & DELIVERY OPTIONS

3.1 Click & Collect (FREE):

Free 1-hour click & collect service available for all online orders

Currency will be ready for collection within approximately 1 hour of order confirmation (during business hours)

You must collect from your selected Travel Money NZ branch location

Valid government-issued photo ID is required for collection

The person collecting must be the person named on the order (or authorised representative with appropriate documentation)

If currency is not collected within [X days], the order may be cancelled and refunded (less any non-refundable fees)

The $8 promotional discount applies to click & collect orders when promo code LNY-NZ-8 is used

3.2 Home Delivery:

Home delivery is available for online orders, subject to location and availability

Delivery may be available in as little as 3 hours depending on your location, order time, and currency availability

Standard delivery charges apply and are calculated separately based on delivery location and order value

Delivery fees are NOT discounted under this promotion

The $8 promotional discount applies to the currency order value only; delivery fees are charged separately and in addition to the currency cost

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed

Deliveries require signature upon receipt

Valid government-issued photo ID must be presented to the delivery courier

The recipient must be 18 years of age or older

Travel Money NZ is not liable for delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to: weather events, traffic, courier delays, incorrect address details provided by customer)

If delivery is unsuccessful due to recipient unavailability or inability to verify ID, re-delivery fees may apply


4. EXCHANGE RATES

4.1 Rate Application:

Foreign exchange rates are variable and subject to change without notice
The exchange rate applied will be the prevailing rate displayed on the Travel Money NZ website at the time you complete your online order

If payment is not completed within the specified timeframe, the exchange rate may change and the rate at the time of payment completion will apply

The $8 promotional discount is applied to your total order value in NZD after foreign exchange calculations

Rates displayed on the website are indicative only until your transaction is confirmed and payment is received

4.2 Rate Changes:

Travel Money NZ reserves the right to refuse transactions if exchange rates change significantly between quote and payment

If rates change substantially, we may contact you to confirm you wish to proceed with the transaction

5. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

5.1 Cancellation Policy:

Standard Travel Money NZ refund and cancellation policies apply

Online orders may be cancelled before collection or dispatch for delivery

5.2 Refund of Promotional Discount:

If an order is cancelled or returned, the promotional $8 discount will be deducted from any refund amount

Only the amount actually paid will be refunded

Partial refunds: If you return a portion of your order and the remaining order value falls below $500 NZD, you will not be entitled to the $8 discount and it will be deducted from your refund
5.3 Delivery Fees:

Online orders cancelled before collection/delivery may be refunded in full (less any non-refundable delivery fees already incurred)

If a delivery has been dispatched, delivery fees are non-refundable

5.4 Currency Buyback:

Currency buyback rates may differ from purchase rates

The $8 promotional discount will not be reinstated on buyback transactions

6. CURRENCY AVAILABILITY

6.1 Online Stock:

All foreign currencies listed on travelmoneynz.com or my.travelmoneynz.com are eligible for this promotion, subject to availability

Currency availability may vary and is subject to stock on hand

6.2 Out of Stock:

If your requested currency is unavailable at the time of order, Travel Money NZ may:

Delay fulfilment until stock is available, OR
Offer an alternative currency, OR
Cancel the order and provide a full refund
All at Travel Money NZ's sole discretion.

6.3 Alternative Currency:

If you accept an alternative currency, the promotional discount still applies provided the order total meets the $500 minimum requirement

You are not obligated to accept an alternative currency

6.4 Liability:

Travel Money NZ is not liable for currency unavailability or delays in fulfilment due to stock limitations

7. GENERAL TERMS

7.1 Modification and Termination:

Travel Money NZ reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this promotion at any time without prior notice

Travel Money NZ reserves the right to deactivate promo code LNY-NZ-8 at any time
Travel Money NZ reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time

7.2 Eligibility Restrictions:

Foreign currency wholesalers, other financial institutions, currency providers, or commercial resellers are not eligible for this promotion

Travel Money NZ reserves the right to refuse transactions that we reasonably suspect are not for personal use

Travel Money NZ staff, contractors, and their immediate family members may be excluded from this promotion

7.3 Circumstances Beyond Our Control:

Travel Money NZ is not liable for failure to fulfil this promotion due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, system failures, supply chain disruptions, cyberattacks, website downtime, or other force majeure events

In such cases, Travel Money NZ reserves the right to modify or cancel the promotion without liability

7.4 Website Errors:

In the event of a technical error, website malfunction, incorrect pricing displayed online, or promo code malfunction, Travel Money NZ reserves the right to cancel affected orders and provide full refunds

Travel Money NZ is not obligated to honour transactions resulting from technical errors
If the promo code LNY-NZ-8 is applied incorrectly due to system error, Travel Money NZ reserves the right to adjust or cancel the discount
